New Coronavirus Variant Spreading In Southern Africa:
US has restrict travel from South Africa and other Southern African countries. Because US and EU as well as Canada and UK want to stop new Variant of Coronavirus from their countries.
According to US, just US citizens can travel from Southern African countries. It happened when EU and UK ban some flights form south Africa and some other African Countries.
Before this The World Heath Organization (WHO) tell about new variant of Coronavirus with its name "Omicron".
US officials said Flights from, South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mozambique and Malawi will be ban. Earlier moves was taken by EU. this ban will come into effect on Monday.
President Joe Biden said in his statement " we take this move its a precautionary measure, we taken until more is known about new variant of coronavirus".
Canada also closing its borders for those travelers who was in South Africa or in other Southern African country in last 15 days.
South African Health Minister Joe Phaahla told reporters that the flights bans against the country where "unjustified".
Meanwhile, the flight bans threaten to separate families over the festive season.
